# Scene Management

Scenes are the building blocks of your video flow. You can add new scenes at any point, rearrange them to fit your narrative, and duplicate existing ones to save time. This article walks you through each of those actions.

### Add a Scene

To add a new scene, click the + icon that appears between or after scenes in the flow map. A panel opens with two tabs to choose from:

* Generic — Browse a library of pre-built scene layouts. These are ready-to-use templates covering common structures like text-only, text with image, countdown, and more. Select a layout that fits your needs, then fill in your own content.
* In this project — Reuse a scene layout that already exists in your current project. This is useful when you want visual consistency without starting from scratch. The new scene inherits the same structure and will adopt your project branding automatically.

Select the layout you want and click Add scene. The scene will appear in your flow and automatically inherit your project's branding.

### Move a Scene

To change the order of scenes, drag a scene card left or right along the flow map. Blings repositions it and keeps all existing connections intact — reordering never breaks your logic or connectors.

### Duplicate a Scene

To duplicate a scene, click the ... menu on its card and choose Duplicate. A copy appears immediately in your flow with the same content, layout, and branding as the original. Edit the duplicate independently — this is handy for creating variations or extending a flow with a similar scene structure.

### What's Next

Once your scenes are in place, the next step is connecting them and defining how viewers move between them. To learn about connectors, conditions, and A/B tests, see Scenes & Flow Maps.
